Forty finalists and five category winners were honored at the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Healthiest Employers of Tampa Bay Awards luncheon on Thursday, September 14, 2012 at the Renaissance Vinoy Resort and Golf Club.   The event is sponsored by Connelly, Carlisle, Fields & Nichols, Florida Blue, and Medi-Weightloss Clinics, and recognizes Tampa Bay area employers that value wellness in the workplace.

The category winners were selected based on an online assessment of worksite wellness programs as follows:

• 2-40 employees: St. Francis Sleep Allergy and Lung Institute
• 41-150 employees: Cigna
• 151-499 employees: Fowler White Boggs PA
• 500-1499 employees: Catalina Marketing
• 1,500+ employees: Manatee County Government
   

Catalina Marketing, with a score of 93.3, was selected as the overall winner of the Tampa Bay Business Journal’s Healthiest Employers award for 2012.
