Appraisals are not required in many jewelry insurance cases for jewelry items below $100,000 and art items below $250,000. Florida asset insurance coverage can be selected on a blanket and/ or itemized basis. Valuables insurance coverage is not typically subject to a deductible and provides coverage for flood, wind, earthquake, breakage and mysterious disappearance. Claims may be resolved on a cash basis or items replaced at market value.
